SEIA’s Solar+ Policy Summit is a 2-day, 3-event landmark solar policy blitz in Washington, D.C.
Starting on December 4th, the Solar+ Policy Forum is the premier gathering for examining federal and state policy issues. Throughout the day, attendees will gain crucial insights into the ongoing political, social, environmental and economic issues that inform market opportunities and challenges as we enter the Solar+ Decade and the goal of making solar a leading source of new power generation in the 2020s.
The morning of December 5th, SEIA invites solar workers, advocates, and anyone passionate about fair solar trade policy to a rally in advance of a hearing at the U.S. International Trade Commission. Join us to demonstrate to the Commission and the general public that tariffs on imported solar cells and modules are harming American businesses and holding back the solar industry's potential.

After the rally and hearing, maximize your visit to D.C. by attending Solar Shines on the Hill Day, SEIA’s power-packed federal lobby day! Solar Shines on the Hill Day puts solar workers face to face with Senators and Representatives who represent them. This lobby day is vital in educating Members of Congress and their staff on solar’s role in energy, the economy, and jobs. You will have the opportunity to discuss trade, tax issues such as the expiring Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and more.
